DealTap — including its name, brand identity, logo, visual design, user interface, source code, database architecture, algorithms, and all associated software — is the exclusive intellectual property of its founder and owner.

All rights are reserved. No part of the DealTap platform may be copied, reproduced, reverse-engineered, distributed, sublicensed, or used to create derivative works without prior written permission from DealTap.

The name DealTap, the DealTap logo, and all associated brand assets are proprietary marks belonging to DealTap. These marks may not be used in any commercial context, marketing material, product name, domain name, or social media handle without explicit written authorisation from DealTap.

Any unauthorised use of the DealTap name or brand assets — whether for commercial gain, competitive purposes, or otherwise — constitutes trademark infringement and will be pursued accordingly under Irish and EU intellectual property law.

Find It Faster™ is a trademark of DealTap, representing the platform's in-store product location feature that guides shoppers directly to products on the shop floor.

The phrase "Find It Faster", the feature concept, and its associated user experience are proprietary to DealTap. This trademark may not be adopted, imitated, or used in any product, service, marketing campaign, or technology offering — whether in whole or in part — without written permission from DealTap.

DealTap is actively pursuing formal trademark registration for Find It Faster™ in Ireland and the European Union.

The core concept behind DealTap — a cross-retailer platform that enables shoppers to locate specific products within physical store layouts using aisle, bay, and zone data — is an original idea developed and owned by DealTap.

While general ideas cannot be patented, the specific implementation, architecture, user experience design, data model, and commercial approach of DealTap are protected as trade secrets and proprietary know-how. Any attempt to replicate, adapt, or commercialise this concept in a substantially similar manner — particularly by parties who have been exposed to DealTap's platform, proposal materials, or technical documentation — may constitute misappropriation of trade secrets and unfair competition under Irish and EU law.

DealTap reserves the right to take legal action against any individual, company, or development team that attempts to copy, clone, or build a competing product based on knowledge obtained through access to DealTap's platform or confidential materials.

Retailer content: Retailers retain ownership of the content they upload (product images, descriptions, offers, store zone data). By uploading content to DealTap, retailers grant DealTap a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, index, and distribute that content on the Platform and via the DealTap widget.

User content: Any reviews, feedback, or other content submitted to DealTap grants DealTap a licence to use, display, and distribute that content on the Platform.

Neither retailers nor users acquire any ownership rights in the DealTap platform, its technology, or its brand by virtue of their participation on the Platform.

The DealTap embeddable widget — including its JavaScript code, API endpoints, tracking logic, and visual interface — is proprietary technology owned by DealTap. Retailers are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to embed the DealTap widget on their own website solely for the purpose of displaying DealTap-powered content to their customers.

This licence does not permit: reverse engineering the widget code, extracting the underlying API structure, using the widget technology to build a competing product, or redistributing the widget to third parties.

DealTap takes the protection of its intellectual property seriously. Any infringement — including but not limited to unauthorised use of the DealTap brand, Find It Faster™ trademark, platform concept, or widget technology — will be pursued through all available legal remedies under Irish law, EU Directive 2016/943 on trade secrets, and applicable intellectual property legislation.
